Had a staycation here in January 2026 for my birthday. We wanted to be able to see the skyline and lay in bed at an affordable price. We stayed on the 7th floor High corner room 2730. Great view of the city. Room was clean, love the aesthetic and the price was great. No complaints.

Gorgeous view, reasonably priced for the hotel and easy to get through by foot or getting dropped off at the entrance. Love how it’s all connected towards the Navy pier so you have so many great food options and easy access! My only slight surprise was the food, I originally came to Chicago for finishing my tattoo sleeve, they had the option in the room I was staying for door delivery, which I was excited for after a long day, I wanted to enjoy some food in peace alone, but they didn’t have too many options for door delivery versus going down to their physical restaurant. Totally fine, I ended up going and sitting down having a nice old-fashioned with Their rigatoni mushroom/shrimp pasta. The hotel delivered a $10 off discount for staying at the hotel but the food plus tip still ended up being about $70. In my opinion, The old-fashioned was spot on, strong and delicious, the food was okay, not super flavorful but my server was very kind, seated me quickly and had a very pleasant conversation! For a Saturday evening around 6/7 PM it was fairly quiet. I would definitely stay back at the Sable hotel but might pass on the Lirica restaurant. Thanks!

Well located right at Navy Pier with excellent views of the lake and skyline. The lobby and common areas feel modern and stylish, with a clear design focus that makes the first impression strong. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully laid out with natural light and good finishes. Service is generally professional and helpful, making check in and everyday needs smooth. The rooftop space is a highlight with great vistas and a nice place to relax or enjoy a drink.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. We have so many wonderful things to say about Sable. First, the property itself is absolutely beautiful and exceptionally well maintained. The views looking back toward the city skyline are stunning. We arrived Sunday afternoon and had no trouble with parking. However, if this is your first visit and you’re arriving Thursday through Saturday during good weather, we recommend using the valet service to make things easier. One of the biggest highlights of the hotel is its location. Being situated toward the end of the pier—about a half to three-quarters of a mile from the mainland—means the usual city noise, including ambulance sirens, is barely noticeable. It makes for a peaceful and restful night’s sleep. Jovan at the front desk was extremely helpful, answering all of our questions and offering thoughtful recommendations throughout our three-day stay. Alma in the restaurant was delightful—polite, attentive, and very accommodating. Breakfast was excellent, and the coffee was especially good. The valet staff were also friendly and helpful, gladly retrieving items from our vehicle whenever needed. We truly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return. Best!

This was my second stay at The Sable at Navy Pier, and once again, it did not disappoint. We stayed on the 5th floor this time, and the views were absolutely stunning. Every room faces Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline, so you’re guaranteed a beautiful backdrop day and night. Waking up to that water and city view is an experience in itself. The rooms are spacious, modern, and very comfortable. I especially love the wood-accented shower and the Lockwood bath products. It feels elevated and spa-like without being overdone. One of the best things about this hotel is the location. Being right on Navy Pier means restaurants, live music, and fireworks are literally steps away. You don’t need to leave the area to have a full Chicago experience. Customer service is consistently outstanding. The front desk team is welcoming and professional, and even valet service was excellent. Everyone contributes to a smooth and enjoyable stay. Pro tip: check out the packages on their website to save money, and consider calling directly to ask about additional offers. Highly recommend. I will absolutely be back again.

My wife and I were in Chicago for two nights stay well our son and his high school wind ensemble performed at the Midwest Clinic at McCormick West. It was also my wife’s birthday and our first get away from our kids, even though we went for a school function! We opted for the full Chicago experience and stayed at the Sable on Navy Pier. I opted for a corner high floor room and we stayed in room 2730 in bay two. Our view of the city was incredible! I’ll start with service. With check-in, Carlos was at the front desk and was incredibly friendly and helpful with us. He greeted us with a smile and took the time to answer any questions that we had. He even remembered us on the second day when he saw us walking in with our takeout box and asked where we had eaten- Gino’s East was one of his favorites as well! I was highly impressed with his friendliness yet swiftness with us as well as remembering us on the second day. The chat function with the front desk has also been really helpful. Check out is at noon and my flight is not until 8pm. Via text, they let me know that I can leave my luggage with the bellman as long as I needed to after checkout. The room is very spacious and has several small amenities that you don’t even think you need until you stay. One example was the removable bed tray from the console and a window bench to sit at to overlook the city and Lake Michigan. The bathroom is super spacious. Having the semi private toilet allowed us to use both sides comfortably. The water pressure was much better than I thought it was going to be with a very hot shower and steady stream. The shower itself was very beautiful. Not that this would be a reason to stay, but the Lockwood brand soap, shampoo, body wash, and lotion have an incredible scent and leave you feeling very clean. The amenities that you also receive, while part of the experience fee of the hotel, are an enormous value. There was the $10 off the restaurant for each day of stay, free Starbucks drip coffee from the restaurant each day of stay, free children’s museum entrance for each day, free Ferris wheel ticket for each day. If you use these amenities, you quickly pay off the convenience fee, and it becomes an incredible value! We also experienced the coffee bar in the lobby, the barista was very friendly and attentive to exactly how my wife wanted her latte prepared. Overall, this is a top-notch hotel and 5-star experience! If you travel here via personal vehicle, there are several paid parking options. If you come here using public/private transit, ride share will come right to the door or the bus line will meet you at the end of Navy Pier.

I have ONLY good things to say. Customer service was top notch. Everyone we encountered was helpful and friendly. Location was also prime! Easy in, easy out. Valet was a breeze. The hotel is beautiful and very well maintained. Our room was clean and beautifully designed. The beds and pillows were comfortable. However, my favorite part was the view from our room! I could wake up to that view everyday. I can say with most certainty that I will stay here again and again when in Chicago, given the room rate is within reason. I am in !! I am so happy we were able to stay here. I'm disappointed I hadnt stayed here sooner.
